Yesterday at work, I donated blood for the first time. Their saying is "the need is constant, the gratification is instant. Give blood" I felt good knowing that I would be helping three people (red cells, plasma, and platelets). In this season of giving, I think it's wonderful to anonymously give to three people. What better feeling is there?
They ask you some questions to make sure your healthy, and it only takes about 8-10 minutes for the actual donation. When you're done, you get cookies!
